Organize Your Flipbooks with Folders, Pins, and Bulk Actions
Keep your FlipLink workspace tidy with folders, pinned favorites, and bulk operations for managing many publications.

Why Organization Matters
When you're managing a handful of flipbooks, finding what you need is easy. But once your workspace grows to dozens — or even hundreds — of publications, things get messy fast. Client projects mix with internal documents, old drafts clutter the dashboard, and that one flipbook you need right now is buried somewhere in the list.
Good organization saves you time, reduces mistakes, and makes collaboration smoother when you're working with a team. FlipLink gives you three powerful tools to keep everything tidy: folders, pins, and bulk actions.
Creating and Managing Folders
Folders are the backbone of an organized workspace. Think of them the same way you'd organize files on your computer — group related publications together so you can find them instantly.
How to Create a Folder
- Open your FlipLink dashboard
- Click the New Folder button
- Give it a clear, descriptive name
- Drag publications into the folder, or move them using the context menu
You can nest folders inside other folders for deeper organization. For example, a marketing agency might create a top-level folder for each client, then sub-folders for campaigns within each client.
Folder Tips
- Use consistent naming — decide on a convention and stick with it (more on this below)
- Archive old folders rather than deleting them, so you can revisit past work
- Share folder access with team members who need to collaborate on specific projects
Learn more about what's possible on the Folders and Organization feature page.
Pinning Your Most Important Publications
Not every flipbook is equal. Some you access daily — your flagship product catalog, a live sales deck, or a document under active review. Pinning keeps these front and center.
How Pinning Works
- Click the pin icon on any publication or folder
- Pinned items appear at the top of your dashboard, always visible
- Unpin when you no longer need quick access
Pins are personal to your account, so each team member can pin what matters most to them without affecting anyone else's view.

Start Free TrialBulk Actions for Managing Many Publications
When you're dealing with a large library, doing things one at a time is painful. FlipLink's bulk operations let you select multiple publications and act on them all at once.
Available Bulk Actions
- Move — relocate multiple publications to a different folder in one step
- Delete — remove outdated drafts or test flipbooks you no longer need
- Archive — hide old publications without permanently deleting them
- Tag — apply labels across several publications for easier filtering
How to Use Bulk Actions
- Enter selection mode by clicking the checkbox icon in the toolbar
- Check the publications you want to act on (or use Select All)
- Choose your action from the bulk actions toolbar
- Confirm — done
This is especially useful during seasonal cleanups or when restructuring your workspace after onboarding a new client.
Naming Conventions and Folder Structure
A little planning upfront saves a lot of headaches later. Here are proven approaches:
By Client or Department
📁 Acme Corp
📁 Q1 Campaign
📁 Product Sheets
📁 Internal
📁 Training Materials
📁 Company Reports
By Content Type
📁 Product Catalogs
📁 Sales Decks
📁 Event Brochures
📁 Whitepapers
Naming Best Practices
- Lead with the most important identifier — client name, project name, or date
- Be specific — "Acme-Product-Catalog-Spring" beats "Catalog v2 final FINAL"
- Skip special characters — stick to letters, numbers, and hyphens
- Include version numbers when you iterate on the same publication
