1Information We Collect

Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored in hashed form). If you authenticate via third-party providers (Google, etc.), we receive your name and email from that provider.

Payment Information: Payment details (credit card numbers, billing address) are collected and processed directly by Stripe. We do not store your full card details on our servers. We receive transaction confirmations, last four digits, and billing country from Stripe.

Uploaded Content: PDF files and associated metadata (titles, descriptions, settings) that you upload to create flipbooks and documents.

Usage Data: IP addresses, browser type, operating system, device information, pages visited, referring URLs, timestamps, and interaction patterns (clicks, page views, time spent).

Viewer Analytics: When others view your published flipbooks or documents, we collect their IP address, browser, device, geographic location (country/city level), pages viewed, and time spent for your publication analytics dashboard.

2How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to: (a) provide, operate, and maintain the Service; (b) process payments and manage your account; (c) convert and host your PDFs as interactive publications; (d) generate analytics for your publications; (e) send transactional emails (account verification, password resets, purchase confirmations); (f) send product updates and feature announcements (you may opt out); (g) detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats; (h) improve and optimize the Service; and (i) comply with legal obligations.

3Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to: maintain your authenticated session, remember your preferences, analyze usage patterns, and measure marketing effectiveness.

Essential Cookies: Required for authentication and core functionality. Cannot be disabled.

Analytics Cookies: Google Analytics collects anonymized usage data to help us understand how the Service is used. Google's privacy policy applies to data they collect.

Marketing Cookies: We may use tracking pixels and cookies from advertising platforms to measure campaign effectiveness. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your browser settings or industry opt-out tools (e.g., NAI, DAA).

4Third-Party Services

We share data with the following categories of third-party service providers, each operating under their own privacy policies:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS) — Cloud infrastructure, file storage, and hosting

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of the Company or others.

5Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on AWS infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit (TLS/SSL). We implement industry-standard security measures including access controls, regular security reviews, and secure coding practices. Uploaded PDFs and generated publication assets are stored in encrypted cloud storage. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6Data Retention

We retain your account data and uploaded content for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data and uploaded content within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., payment records for tax/accounting purposes, which may be retained for up to 7 years). Viewer analytics data may be retained in aggregated, anonymized form indefinitely.

7Your Rights

All Users: You may access, update, or delete your account information at any time through your dashboard at go.fliplink.me, or by emailing us. You may request a copy of your personal data in a portable format.

EU/EEA Residents (GDPR): You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, and object to processing of your personal data. Our legal basis for processing is contractual necessity (to provide the Service) and legitimate interest (to improve and secure the Service).

California Residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

UAE Residents: Your data is processed in compliance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data. You have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of your personal data.

8Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 16, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

9International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed and stored in the United States, United Arab Emirates, or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your data to countries outside your country of residence, which may have different data protection laws. We take appropriate safeguards to ensure your data remains protected in accordance with this policy.

10Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification and update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
